Paintballing in Henfield jungle, and conquering our (indoor) mountain - are you up to the challenge?

What's coming up in the next few months?

This year we're planning a mix of activities, including paintballing, karaoke, bowling and a whole lot more ... keep checking this website for dates. If you're new to diabetes or you've never come to any of our events before, please get in touch as we'd love to meet you. Bring your friends, mates, partners and pals!

Tuesday 9th March: Improving Diabetes Services - AGM

Welcome, welcome, everyone, to our AGM where the theme for the evening is improving NHS Diabetes Services. We'll be welcoming Mark Hannigan, Regional Commissioner for NHS Diabetes who'll be talking about NHS priorities, what we can expect and how we can make our voices heard. There'll be guided discussions allowing people to raise issues and concerns. As always there'll be refreshments, a raffle and information about diabetes.

Meet 7.30-9pm at the New Madeira Hotel, Marine Parade, Brighton. Here's a map. See you there!

Wednesday 7th April: 18-30's Information Evening

Whether you're after information on travelling, hypos, alcohol, exercise or simply on how to manage diabetes in day to day life, then come along and meet other 18-30's to share experiences and exchange information. We're friendly and informal, and we always finish up by going for a drink down the pub.

Our next meeting is on Wednesday 7th April between 7.30-9pm. The venue? The Diabetes Centre at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. Let us know you’re coming or simply drop by. Newcomers more than welcome!

Orbing for Diabetes - How much BOUNCE have you got?! So, diabetes shouldn't stop you doing what you want, right? Even if that includes climbing into a giant inflatable ball and getting pushed unceremoniously down a hill on what would have otherwise been a quiet Sunday afternoon ... Click here for more photos and a video of our orbing event in August.
