Have Yourself a Very Merry Christmas (Party)

A festive meal at the New Madeira Hotel was enjoyed by a large group of us on the evening of Tuesday 8th December. Brighton’s Chamber Choir entertained us with beautiful choral music, and we heartily joined in singing carols - just the right thing to get us into the Christmas spirit!

A very special thank you went to Amanda (pictured below receiving a gift from Chairman Alex) for her hard work over the years. And congratulations to Heather, Jan, Nick, Jim, Jenny and Jane for their spectacular win of the General Knowledge Quiz.

Organiser Ian said, ‘We wanted this party to be a chance for people to meet up with each other, make new friends and have a really enjoyable time. It was good to see people relaxing as the wine, fruit juice and soft drinks flowed!’ Angela from Chailey said, ‘What a super evening. Great food and great atmosphere. The Choir was wonderful and the quiz was fun.’
