Brighton Chamber Choir Charity Concert
On Saturday November 17th, the Brighton Chamber Choir held a choral extravaganza in aid of Diabetes UK, at a concert entitled "Gloria in Excelsis Deo" at The Church of the Good Shepherd, Dyke Road, Hove.

The evening included performances of Vivaldi's "Gloria", Arvo Part's "Magnificat" and excerpts from Handel's "Messiah". The event gave the voluntary group the chance to further spread its wings and introduced new faces to all.
The Brighton Chamber Choir, or BCC as they are also known, very kindly donated ALL profits for the evening to Diabetes UK. This included ticket sales, takings at the bar and a retiring collection, all of which amounted to a staggering £417.11 which will be put to excellent use in 2008.

We would like to publicly thank Conductor Jane Money, Pianist Tim Nail and all other members of Brighton Chamber Choir for their hard work and generosity in arranging this charity concert. Be sure to visit the Brighton Chamber Choir's website to keep up-to-date with their concerts and events.
