Aaron Strikes it Lucky - Bowling Extravaganza

There were strikes and spares a-plenty at our Bowling event on Sunday 15th November, marking World Diabetes Day. Congratulations to champion Aaron for hitting a turkey (three strikes in a row) on his final three go's and over shadowing the rest of us with a magnificent score of 181.

Aaron said, 'I was a little nervous as it was the first time I had attended an event but I soon felt at ease. It was really nice to meet others who have similar experiences as myself in a relaxed, informal and fun way.' Heather who organised the event said, ‘I had a fantastic time and enjoyed talking to old friends and meeting new people. I didn’t know what the response would be, but I was amazed that so many people - aged 6 to 26 to 66 - turned up. I felt quite bowled over!'
