Proving that sport isn't just for the super-fit, a team of intrepid bowlers donned some super red sneakers and headed for the Bowlplex, Brighton Marina, on Tuesday 6th May, to have a couple of games of tenpin bowling.

Competitive streaks soon started to show, as the evening became a battle between the young and the young-at-heart. After two full matches of ten attempts per person, the honours were even with both teams triumphing in separate games. It's safe to say that none of the players were pros, which meant that everyone was given an equal chance of success!

In the end, Alex was awarded first prize and won a bottle of wine, whilst Amanda gratiously accepted the booby prize - but, as they say, it's the taking part that counts! Despite several malfunctions with the lanes, the evening went off without a hitch and the Bowlplex also donated a bottle of wine for the group to raffle at a future meeting.
